Lillian Dube is one of South Africa most distinguished actresses. Sporting over 20 years on television, with roles in hollywood movies such as Cry the Beloved Country, she has been honoured with awards such as The Star Tonight Award for best actress, Astera Award for best actress in drama to name a few.

Not only is Lillian known for her acting abilities, but also as a survivor of breast cancer and an activist for breast cancer awareness.

Mama Lillian a she is fondly known can be seen on Skwizas on SABC 2 every Sunday @ 19:00. Skwizas is a comedy starring Lillian Dube, Mara Louw, Mary Twala, Rina Nienaber and Dolly Malunga as they bustle through the idiosyncrasies of life in Skywards Retirement Village.
